Timothy Nuell Stanfill, age 65, of Crump, Tennessee, passed away at his home on May 13, 2026. Born on August 26, 1960, in Savannah, Tennessee, to the late Jimmy Stanfill and Betty Hanna Stanfill, Tim lived a life defined by hard work, devotion to family, and a love for the outdoors. His passing leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of strength, kindness, and resilience.
Tim dedicated 28 years of his career to A&G Commercial Trucking, where he served with loyalty and determination, eventually becoming Vice President. Known for his strong work ethic and ability to stay busy, Tim was admired by colleagues and friends alike. Beyond his professional life, he was a true handyman, capable of fixing nearly anything, and he took pride in helping others with his skills.
Outside of work, Tim found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved hunting, fishing, traveling, and spending time outdoors. Watching old westerns was one of his favorite pastimes, with John Wayne holding a special place among his heroes. These hobbies reflected his adventurous spirit and his appreciation for tradition and storytelling. Tim’s life was enriched by these passions, but his greatest joy was always found in the company of his family.
He was a devoted husband to his wife, Kenna Gibbs Stanfill, and a loving father to his children, Timmy Stanfill (Amanda), Tyler Stanfill, Kenlee Parrish (Alex), and Kimberlin Pyron (Hunter). His grandchildren — Addisson Stanfill, Owen Stanfill, Mason Stanfill, Rhett Parrish, and Sawyer Parrish — were the light of his life, and he embraced his role as Papaw with pride and affection. Tim’s family remembers him as a man who gave generously of his time, love, and wisdom, and who treasured every moment spent together.
Tim is also survived by his sister, Donna Turnbow (Stevie); his brother-in-law, Jeff Gibbs (Shawn); his sister-in-law, Gaye Gibbs; and his nieces and nephews, Wendy Hollin (Shawn), Emily Burns (Chris), and Anna Nicholson (Chandler), along with numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his niece, Lindsay Presley. His family and friends will remember him for his devotion, his laughter, and his ability to bring people together.
Services celebrating Tim’s life will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at First Pentecostal Church of Crump, with Brother Gene Hanna officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and continue until service time. Private burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Enville, Tennessee. Tim’s life in Crump was one of love, faith, and family, and his memory will remain a guiding light for all who were blessed to know him.
