Jimmy Dale “Jim” Pressley, age 88, of Smyrna, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 10, 2026. Born in Morristown, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Clayton Pressley and Minnie Bale Pressley. Jim’s life was one of devotion to family, faith, and hard work, and his passing leaves a legacy of love and resilience that will be remembered by all who knew him.

Jim was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Dorothy “Dot” York Pressley, three sisters, and five brothers. His marriage to Dot was a true partnership, built on love, loyalty, and shared values. Together, they created a home filled with warmth and hospitality, where family and friends were always welcome. Their union was a shining example of commitment and enduring love.
